  Very earthy, pungent nose, in a good way. Nice long finish, wow- the last bottle and it's finally getting good. Should really have waited on all the others. Be patient with the 2009.

  Quite unusual for Oregon PN. Almost like a Nebbiolo from Piedmont or CDR from a lean year. Tart, minerally, high acid, licorice, some tannin, good intensity on this one. Better with food

  This is coming into the drinking window. No longer tight and acidic, it has opened up on the nose offering sweet dark cherry with spices and floral aspect, on the palate it has rounded out some and come together with dark cherries, spice and minerals. Medium body and medium finish with spice and minerals and good acidity. Expect it to improve some more. Great value.
