  Really good wine, but somewhat underwhelming. Smelled more like a Cab. initially, but then got a bit more recognizable. Good or even very good intensity and interest/length, but still felt a bit shy and not too impressive. Considering the price, a disappointment. Also quite youthful, perhaps deserves a longer wait. Anyway, the drinking window on the CT seems strange, to put it mildly.

  Deeply layered, complex, direct, intriguing, funny, serious.
  
  Testamatta in a few words and in perfect drinking window.

  Bibi Graetz Vertical Testamatta. Drank in Conterno Sensory.
  Appearance deep intensity, garnet colour. Legs.
  Nose pronoucned intensity, with aromas of porcini mushrooms, earth, Tuscan dust/dirt, dried plums, dark herbal spice, slight balsamic. Developed.
  On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium+ alcohol, structured high tannins, full body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of dark red cherries, dark red plums, leather, herbal spices, balsamic, oreganao, savoury porcini mushrooms earth, dusty minerality. Long fine leathery muscle sinewy finish.
  Very good quality. At prime and I feel should be drank up. Feels perfect for a truffle mushroom risotto.

  This is one of the best Super Toscan I've ever drunk - unfortunately my last bottle of 2007. So elaborated so nice berry flowers endless taste - stays for minutes in your mouth - no need to decant - open and maybe wait an hour but it's also right away drinkable after opening a bottle
