  I prefer this wine towards the end of its life once the fruit has lost most of its acidic edge and gained some complexity - the last of my bottles and both were fully mature and quite delicious

  it has lost a lot of its "bite' and is a more gentle wine now and easy drinking - would drink soon though

  Tried this after 30 mins open on the side and it was ok, tried again after 90 mins open and it is so, so much better. Dark cherry, white pepper and black fruits on the nose, with a lovely tongue covering smooth yet thick palate of red and black berries and dark cherry. I like the tannins as they are (chunky!) but they may well smooth over the next 3-4 years. Super wine.

  Australia Trip: Tasted at the winery. Deep flavors of cherry and dark fruit with underlying earth tones. Very tannic, and can use 2-3 more years in the bottle. (Doris 90)
