Excellent. One of the best of this variety in Australia and always long-lived. 14.5% alc. Colour: black berries, coffee Bouquet: raspberries and blackberries, liquorice, leather, spice Palate: as bouquet, coffee, blackberries, black olives. Huge wine as it opens out, with big soft tannins, but has an acid sharpness and hollows out a bit in the bottom palate. Very dry long finish. June 2021

No formal note, the nose on this is fantastic, the palate less so but still solid, this has a lot of tannins on it, give it a ton of air when you open it up.

Monthly tasting club LTC 2016-02; French or not French? (@ My place): Beautiful bouquet with dark berries, cherries, rose hips, coffee and eucalyptus. On the palate a concentrated wine with dark forest fruits, sweet spices, sweet licorice, herbs, some menthol, beautiful acidity and mild tannin. Stored the bottle really cool for some days and the second evening the wine showed even better. So there is absolutely no hurry drinking this.

Waited just a wee bit long to drink this beauty. I will learn from the mistake. Still enjoyable but regrettable that my patient cellaring went on just a bit to long.

Very enjoyable wine. This is only my second ever pure mourvedre, and I am finding I love the nose on these wines. This went very well with steaks off the grill.
