  This is a good CF, but the only thing that disappoints me is that this wine was not as dense or full bodied as I expected. Popped and let sit in the bottle for about 30 minutes. Wine poured a very dark red into the glass. The nose was all floral and blueberry fruit. The palate was blackberry, blueberry, some earth, and really tended to get more full bodied as the wine opened over the next 3 hours. Black pepper spice finished the wine along with very integrated tannin. I really think this wine has another 2 years before it starts to head downhill and believe it can drink well for another 4 if cellared properly. I see 24 of these still exist - that's a pretty good number, but at least have a plan for how you're going to unload this.

  2nd bottle of the night and should have saved. flavors kind of muted due to the meritage we had before. this bottle does better sitting out for a bit though.

  Very impressive balance and grip. Black cherry, blackberry, raspberry with the tannis still noticeable but just enough 'tightness' to pair with a beef roast. Hard to believe it can get any better... Enjoy!

  better the next go around. paired with a steak and cab sav reduction sauce. wasnt as tight as we remembered the last bottle being.
