This is why we love Cabernet Franc (and why we have a cellar) This one has too much oak, that is just now integrating. There is a super interesting, flinty, graphite, woody, cocoa, and olive oil tone to the subdued, elegant blueberry and blackberry fruit. Just past medium bodied. There is a sharp edge to the fruit, that so distinctly delineates it from the acid, then the tannin. Too much oak interferes a little. Chocolate, licorice, and tobacco on the finish.

Strawberries and cherries. with a dash of earth and oak. Good acidity with nice finish. Hints of tea leaves. Somewhat tannic but with good acidity. Recommend wait one more year.
