From Salmanazar (9 litre bottle)--always wanted to open a TN this way! Copying Cooper here, medium color with plummy dark fruit, earth, mushrooms, herbs, smoke and coffee bean on the palate. Lively, with fairly perfect balance between tannins and acid.

From a 9 litre bottle. Medium Dark red with brown edges, dark fruit, earth, mushrooms, herbs, smoke and coffee bean. Beautiful lively plum fruit mixed with smoke and earth flavours. Still some heft to the finish, almost a balance between tannins and acid.
Best Beringer I've had.

Pristine bottle. Slightly sour nose rendered some concern. After 10 minutes all was good. Very youthful. Blue fruits still vibrant, the tannins were still present and a pleasant but not long finish. Still held together nicely on it's second day- very impressive.

Needed 15 to open. Then wide open for 1-1.5 hours. And then faded into sour cherry and leather.

Drinking so well right now. Earth, mushrooms, tobacco. Silky smooth tannin. Medium long finish.
