Decanted for three hours. My last of four bottles, this has always been a plush, somewhat jammy, and very full-bodied Cab that delivers abundant drinking pleasure. Not falling off yet, but no real reason to wait any longer.

A robust and hearty Paso Robles Cab in the house style: concentrated, rich, and just slightly chewy; heavy on the blackberry notes and tinged with vanillin. Still going strong, but unlikely to evolve much more. I'd say drink within a year or two, at most.

WOTN. Drank in between a Kosta Browne keefer Ranch 2015 and a Saxum broken Stones 2012. Drinking so beautifully right now, I can’t imagine this getting any better.

(L'Aventure Paso Robles Estate Cabernet Sauvignon) #1; COLOR-dark; NOSE-just insane; HUGE red fruit; like red pie; blackberries; black currant; not a bashful wine; PALATE-bombastic; big voluptuous "Marilyn Monroe" fruit; dark cherries; blackberries; just chewy - I want bite it; it's yummy; a big wine that still keeps it's structure; stays complete; I love the tannins; it's fresh; there's black currant; bark; beautiful big wine; big Cabernet; cult collectors would love this wine; the kind of wine that would get 95/96 points from Parker and Spectator; I really like this; this is a fruit bomb that I can deal with; GV-92+

Wonderfully mature. Soft, gentle tanins. Luxurious mouthfeel.
