As others have said, this is a big, earthy, tannic wine, just too dry and earthy for me at this point. Maybe another 5 years in the bottle to come around? A day later not much improved with the dark fruits fading leaving more tart red fruit and still loads of tannins. Wasn't expecting that with a 2013.

Showing the earthy side of Cabernet Sauvignon at this stage. Notes of wild and dust-covered plum, red and black cherry, and dry soil and sedimentary rock. The plum and cherry dominate throughout the profile, finishing a little rustic and grainy. 92-93. Drink now.

Very good, but definitely past its prime (estimated at 12-18 months). Would have been SPECTACULAR at that point. Drink it quickly!

Holy cow, this is just stunning especially when paired with steak. Beautifully aged - flavors so well integrated and such a silky, strong backbone.
