  Classic Lewis -- big, bold and fantastic. This Chardonnay was just at or past its peak. The nose was still bold with apple and pear, while the first taste left a slight tart citrus flavor to combine with the apple, pear and some peach blossoms. Incredibly complex with a finish that just didn't want to leave. With five of us drinking, it didn't last too long, but truly got better with time. I wish I had another to drink more slowly! We drank it with friends over tuna tartar appetizers, hamachi shots (with some red peppers and seaweed), and bread. A real treat!
