Took about an hour after opening for the traits of a Lewis chardonnay- rich texture, creme pie, tropical fruit notes and vanilla- to emerge. For the first hour, I would have never guessed what I was drinking. Haven’t had another Lewis chardonnay be so slow to arrive at the party. Rating reflects a 2 point reduction for late arrival.

Celebrating Good Health (R&D's): Opens with a heavy toasted quality, followed by apple and a hint of banana. Nice chardonnay fruit on the palate; develops a tropical edge and ends with a nice bit of toast.

Lush style with plenty of creamy ripe pineapple and toasted almonds. The alcohol does show up a bit but quite enjoyable Chardonnay.

Very nice, rich Chard. Not overly impressed, especially for the price.

A classic Chard from Lewis. They can make more than Reds I guess :) Tons of apple skins, good fruit ect.
