Had with a mexican spiced and stuffed pork loin- great pairing!!! Still same notes- this is such a great wine. Last bottle- but it drank well and went well with food.

Wow, this is a great wine and I'm troubled between this and the Brown! The fruit and spice went prefect with the steak tacos we BBQ'd up on the 4th. The spice of the corn and pepper(hot and sweet) salsa was kept in check with the lively fruits (cherry, raspberries and blackberries) and other spices. After the prefect pairing with food, with wine now has a step up on the Brown. I love when the pairing of wine and the food make each other 10x times better!

Dinner at Artisan- Wyatt's Retirement (Paso Robles): Drank at Artisan in Paso. A good Zin from T-vines. I'm a bigger fan of the Brown. But, this is a very good Zin and was the WOTN at dinner with everyone.

Very good zin and very much in the Greg Brown traditional style - big, bold, heavily sedimented and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this for lovers of big bold and peppery zins and at this price point this wine is a good QPR. Very dark, smooth, well integrated and with a lovely peppery aftertaste. Nose bright and spicy with white pepper, all spice and red cherry. Primary flavors included black pepper, cherry, some licorice, leather.

Good, but no need to buy again. I didn't like it as much as the 2005 Petite Sirah or his Psychedelic Rooster Primitivo. Solid.
