My experience mirrors the other comments here. The color of the wine was translucent and seemed thin. A worrying sign for such a young wine. I actually enjoyed the wine itself with its light strawberry and cola notes. I recall other Failla Pinot having a bright cranberry note that this didn't have. I actually prefer strawberry and cola to cranberry, but the problem seems to be that this is thin and doesn't have much acid. I would be concerned about what age will do this wine and I suspect it was picked early due to the 2022 heat wave. It seems very far off from Failla's normal profile.

Translucent red and a bit milky in appearance. Fresh strawberries. Energetic on the palate, light on its feet. Simple, but not particularly rustic. An interesting, puzzling wine. It has me curious about other PNs from this producer.

Very light transparent pink-orange color with almost nonexistent extraction, yielding an insipid nose and a pallid mouthfeel of vapororous simplistic dried strawberry flavor and a weakened supporting acidity and an imagined semblance of tannin presence. This technically adequate but disenchanting wine is more disappointing than multiple $15.00 bottles of California and Oregon Pinot Noir we have enjoyed. Recommend the Russian River version of this wine, but both are three times overpriced. This producer has fallen to an all time stylistic and qualitative nadir.

A little turgid and hard.

On the nose a little unresolved with its wood character to it. But everyone else likes it more so I am more sensitive to it I guess - in a bad way.
