This bottle seemed a bit oxidized maybe. Fruits were more stewed and dried while the colour had bricked a touch. Nonetheless it was good but not compelling with similar impressions as the prior bottle 2 years ago.

It might be a bit past it’s prime, slightly opaque in color, but still has a great nose and was delicious. We had it with grilled salmon and it was an excellent dinner companion.

PnP. This is everything you want out of a Sonoma Coast pinot. Savory on the nose with dark red fruit. High acidity on the palate with ripe dark red fruit, dried herbs, tobacco. Medium length finish, some tannin, tart fruit. Delicious.

Pale medium ruby and starting to show a shade of tawny. Medium intensity aromas of wet mulch, mushroom and cherry cola. Ripe and broad on the palate, full of summer berries on the attack and then it gets interesting and reveals a prominent umami note redolent of konbu (kelp). Long savory finish.
