Really the first Martinelli. Lovely but perhaps too young. The nose is big with black cherry, aromas from stewing meat and purple flowers. In mouth the wine is equally big with ripe fruits, fruit-forward and active present acidity. Finish includes a marmalade note along with prune, and violet.
