Quite pale but a deep red hue. Restrained nose - not especially expressive. Tastes like cool climate Pinot Noir - no easy sweetness here. Medium body . 12.5%. The fruit not yet complex or layered - quite dark toned and gently herbal. Chalky. Pleasantly slight bitterness on a long finish. Some stems included perhaps. Early days. This may have closed up a bit - on this day showing its delicacy.
