Amaro candied cherries, wild strawberry, licorice, slight rose, slight leathery/tarry earthy note. Lots of bright red fruit, very reminiscent of some angostura di amaro candied cherries I made for a dessert this last winter. Great herbaceous quality with some floral and earthy elements balancing it all out. High acidity, medium fine grained tannins, medium body, slight bit of sappy frizzante. Pretty good concentration, and a fairly long finish as well. Incredibly satisfying and thirst quenching. QPR is off the charts here, for $20/bottle, just get a case.

Kind of halfway between a Langhe red and a rose; rose and cherry up front, tar and earth on the thinner core, finish is tilted towards acidity but still some nice tannin. Liked it best cold and went well with a chicken dish that would have called for pinot, gamay or ruche.

Beautiful nose of Nebbiolo, quite light in flafor as compared to the typical Barolo, much more Barbaresco like. Opened up nicely in the glass and with a decant of an hour or two. Was very pleasantly surprised at how delicious was ... tart cherry with some earthy leathery notes... great QPR, would buy again!

Light in color and body with solid acidity mixed in with the cherry and plum notes along with some herbality. The nose is better than the palate, this works better with food than without.
