Translucent garnet color. Medium body. Hints of raspberry and cherry on nose. Resolved tannins. Medium finish with a touch of spice on finish. Not complex. Good. Longer life ahead.

Translucent orang-y red, the nose bursts with wafts of cherry, baking spice, sandalwood, and flowers. Hauntingly deep on the palate, with cascading flavors of rhubarb, toasty cranberry, spicy, creamy orange, and forest floor. Delicate in nature but pure and layered. Such an anomaly for Rutherford Pinot (lol). More Pinot-esque than some of the cooler spots on the north coast. A gem.

This wine hits the spot. So pedigreed and cerebral. Light crimson, but deep and layered in the color. Fresh strawberry, pine-y, earthy sweet spice, flowers and a little toasted wood. In the mouth the wine is structured and layered, with firm acid and tannin. Fruity, with cherry and strawberry notes, waxy candied orange, baking spice, black tea and fresh field aromas. Flavors are full and long. Does not disappoint with great upside potential. Always loved these wines, especially as they age.
