Mulberry, candy and herbs aromas, the nose smells a little flabby and unfocused. Macerated cherry, smoked meats and herb flavours on the palate which persist to the finish. Medium+ bodied, medium bodied drying tannins on the tongue. The smoked meats note is a bit overpowering and results in the wine having little charm. Think Gary Walsh got this wrong - nowhere near 94 points.

The wine a little cloudy, as if it hadn't settled yet in the bottle. Nose beautiful classic pinot. Taste great balance to grape and savoury.
