Community Tasting Notes (3) Avg Score: 88.1 points

  • Excellent. Consistent with my previous notes. I am surprised that there are no notes from others for this vintage.
This is a fine Viognier-based wine. Always consistent, complex, fresh, and versatile. A touch of almond on the late palate. 89+

  • As my previous note. Good nose, rich colour. After a day (stored overnight in the fridge), the rich apricot fruit was more forward. Very attractive wine, as always.

  • Our first taste of this vintage. Golden colour. Given a couple of hours, the nose is fragrant but complex and the rich palate shows all the lemon, lemon curd, green apple, tropical notes which are detectable on the nose and typical of earlier vintages. It has the juicy acidity to accompany food but, as always, is lovely on its own (especially on a bright sunny day like today).
Ultra reliable and consistent. We are still drinking the 2017 and 2018 vintages with great pleasure. It will develop nicely. I’m sure my score will rise as it ages. 89+
