Decanted 2 hours, Very subtle hint of chicory and leather but soft enough as the wine is on the downside I would think. Paired with aNY strip that was only seasoned with Salt and Pepper and did a great job washing it down. Drink now

This wine has a great nose of crushed limestone, black cherry, hint of cola and herbs. The wine is still quite restricted. The entry is dark, muted, but the black cherry and cola is what I appear to take out of this. The middle is where the limestone and black cherry seem to resonate, and finishes rather tannic. I'm going to give this one a few more hours to come around, as I know that as soon as this tannic curtain drops, this one is going to improve to at least 94/95. After a few hours, I figured out the reason why this one did not express: VA really started to show up and killed this one.

From the early Realm days. Pure and direct, a little muscular but oh so refined! Drinking beautifully right now.

2005 Realm Farella - earthy, dark purple still. Tons of tannins left. 15.7% ABV but hidden well. A bit woody/okay at this phase.

Cherry, plum, white pepper on a nose that makes you forget to drink. Beautiful vibrant mid palate. Great wine that isn't crazy expensive.
