Tried with filet mignon and was absolutely stunning. Sage underbrush, Rosemary, light violet undertones and Asian spice. What really surprised me was the deep umami and how savory the wine was. So open with soft integrated tannins even at such a young age. Usually I wouldn’t recommend opening a bottle so early, but if you have more than one I would. Admittedly, the finish isn’t long, but other than that this wine is singing in my opinion. Love this wine. Interestingly, this wine is 90% cab when most continuum wines are 60% and under with loads of cab franc. I really love this wine.
