PnP. This was great! Bramble and dark cherries on the nose. Purplish red color. Deep wine with classic Napa sweetness. Fruit forward yet elegant and awesome texture. Medium plus finish. Glad I have one left.

Short TN. Quite Napa-esque on the nose, big fruit along with the Napa freshness. On the palate, really surprising pronounced intensity, the decade of ageing does not seem to have had much impact. This is still mostly primary, dense black fruit, a little rich, but still a well made wine. 90-91

Not giving a rating. This sucker has structure - present acid and tannin. But there’s barley a nose outside of some alcohol. Flavor muted outside of a hint of olive and something that says former berry. Agreed that maybe a dumb phase? Trying again on night 2.

Big dense, dark, dry, balanced, tannins almost resolved. Much too big a wine for the lamb, really needs steak. Really nice not fake overripe, but oh so concentrated. Will wait to try the next one.

11yr Wedding Anniversary! Wine needed a decant but we didn’t have time. Dark purple color. Great nose of cedar, dark cherries, and rustic elements. Was surprised by the olives and meats on the palate. Was very CDP like. Not sure if it’s in a weird spot, an off bottle, or meant to be that type of blend. Wasn’t bad, but not my style. Medium depth and finish.
