Community Tasting Notes (8) Avg Score: 93 points

  • Very pretty nose with cherries, cloves, cinnamon, and high pitched red fruit flavors. Powerful palate with lots of tannins and fruit. Medium+ finish. This has everything to age well, but really does need that time to harmonize a bit. Promising, but I would give this 5-10+ years. 93-94++

  • Opened this way too young. Ceritas house style shinning through. Vibrancy with a racy streak of acidty with perfectly balance purple fruits.

  • Decanted but needs time. Five years, I would say. Fascinating, but let it sleep. 13.1%

  • Color: medium ruby
Nose: just ripe cherry and blackberry. Rasp, and other pleasant green notes, perhaps on the side of wild weeds, just cut. Cedar and spice. Blood orange zest. Clearest note of soil I ever got.
Palate: medium body, medium-high acidity, grainy tannins detectable. Bitter. Just ripe darker fruit and that green note, confirming the nose. Balanced
    Finish: medium-long

This is a hold for a handful more years, but even today we are looking at an absolutely wonderful pinot noir. Ever-changing, young but already fascinating. I p&pd it, just to follow the evolution since I had time, and for 3 hours I witnessed dramatic change that i thought was really remarkable - from somewhat thin and sharp to generous and motherly with generous fruit. I have my fingers so very tightly crossed for an allocation.
