Opened a few hours before a party and was disappointed. Wine had a slight effervescence and a slightly sour taste. However, I left the bottle open overnight and tried it again 20 hours later. Very much improved! Effervescence was gone and wine was much better balanced.

I love wines from the Bien Nacido vineyard but this one didn't "wow" me. Not a poorly made wine just nothing special.

Very young and tannic but showing some promise. Try next bottle in 1 year. If you want to drink this now at least an hour of decanting is suggested.

Falltacular 2008 (San Juan Capistrano, CA): A little funky with good strawberry fruit. Seemed a little incomplete, however.
