Love this. It’s rich and almost creamy from the full malo and batonnage. Ripe fruit ranging from citrus to orchard to stone fruit. There’s a sweet toasty oak thing going on which gives almost a butterscotch note. Fairly long finish. It’s very California, but not over the top.

Very consistent, bottle-to-bottle and year-to-year. Medium body, nice balance, just slightly sweet, round edges with good acidity and just a hint of oak/butter/vanilla. Not a "Wow!" kind of wine, but well-made and enjoyable. A nice crowd-pleaser at <= $20.

Apparently a great-great- grand daughter of a Ford is a founder. And its been poured at the White House too. 100% french oak barrel on it. Wonder how much is new. Does show oak, but it smells like high quality oak. And round on the palate too. Some candied fruit there. So tooty-fruity but in a delicious kinda way.

Dark yellow. Dominant oak with low-medium acidity. Medium-long finish.

So smooth and elegant without being flabby, buttery or over-oaked.
Perfect balance, a touch of tropical fruit and a medium finish.
