Lustrous gold in colour - this leads with a fascinating nose of honeyed fruit and aniseed, with waxy ripe peaches and pears, dried fruit and marzipan, touches of fresh brioche, pineapple and a lick of melon. Lovely full weight in the mouth, but fleet-footed and poised, with aniseed subtly underpinning the rich but not overdone fruit. The superbly long finish is powdery and smooth with a herbal twist. Top stuff.

The wine opens with a blast of white peaches, white nectarines, almonds, apricots, honeysuckle, and pineapple. Luscious, fresh, long, and loaded with supple textured topical accented fruits, you can enjoy this now for all of its primary fruits and sweetness, or age it a bit more and allow the minerality to take a more active role. Drink from 2022-2032.

Heady nose of honey and fresh tropical notes, with something a bit imposing. Rich, concentrated, almost sweet, the flavours seem to intensify with time in the mouth, good fresh citrus acidity, spicy. This is wonderful; better drunk at room temp - warmer reveals more richness, cooler some more freshness. Improves after a day or two.

Made from close to equal percentages of all 6 allowable, white wine grape varietals, the wine leads off with aromatics of roasted nuts, orange, peach, flowers and spice. Luscious, opulent and richly textured, the wine is sweet, fresh and fruity. The wine was produced from yields of only 10 hectoliters per hectare.
