  • Initially on opening very tight and waxy, but lovely balance and cracking length. A it relaxes after an hour, the waxiness in the mouth, relaxes and there definitly is a light fino sherry like nose with a ripe apricot finish. In the mouth the fruit comes to the party. Apricots, almonds, and a touch of white pepper in the finish, which hums in the length. Good weight and balance. Good to go now, but I feel in a couple of years time this will rock and roll

  • At my friend's "Yiannis" birthday dinner, deep lemony colour almost golden. Nose with signs of evolution, wet wool and a slight fino sherry character from oxidation but with ripe fruit like apricot to support it and honey and floral nuances. I got lucky and spotted the wine blind. I can understand someone who does not like this wine but for me it is really fine. Full bodied with oily texture and long finish. Very, very enjoyable and very food friendly.

  • Drank at my birthday dinner with my wife Sophia and my friend "B. Dylan". Fairly dark yellow-gold. Dried apricot, honey and tertiary aromas like wet wool and truffles on the nose. Full-bodied with sweetness, ripe fruit and moderate but sufficient acidity. Long finish. I was advised by the wine-shop owner not to buy this bottle because he was sure that it would be off. I insisted buying it and got rewarded for taking the risk...Very enjoyable overall.

  • Needs some time to breath back into its full form but then becomes a real treat with its peach, white fruit, almond, floral...all with good structure.
