Loved the wine. Lacks a little bit more acidity to be great, but it is a very delicious and enjoyable wine. If you take it to any restaurant or bbq everyone will love it. Kills most Napas below $50. Will definitely buy more. I am writing and drinking and oh boy, it is VERY good. No, it does not compare to expensive Napa cabs, but this wine for casual drinking and not act like a snob is GREAT. QPR is fantastic. Not a wine for long ageing

dark purple.. minerality/stone/graphite on the nose.. classically Red mountain fruit on the nose but more muted than some others that i have had. Dark berry on the palate with a hint of bitterness which was a little off-putting at first. some oaky notes. solid wine got better with time in the glass each night i opened it. smoothed out quite a bit in the glass. to be optimal needs at least another year or two in bottle. Drank over the last month using a coravin..initial draw was 4/21 finished 5/15.

Needed more time to open up. Tight flavors of ripe blueberry, plum, charcoal, and crushed stone. While I'm sure there was more going on with the wine, this wasn't particularly impressive.

Short decant. Paired with baby back ribs. Nice fruit and a good cab for this price point.

Washington State Blind Tasting (Grapes & Grains, Temecula, CA): Tasted blind. Correctly identified as Cabernet Sauvignon.
