Consumed over three nights, it's aromatics were best on night one, the flavor and body best on night three. this is a solid and enjoyable wine, but a bit simple. A firned mentioned that this was a hot vintage and that many wines were on the less aromatoic side in 2017. At $20-25 I would buy again, but above that not so sure.

Retail $35. Under screw cap. A vestige of my Largest Blind Tasting of American Pinot Noir of 2019, I really liked it then (90 pts.) but I might like it more now. A gamey and savory wild cherry with hints of mushroom and dark earth, this wine is rather fantastic. The palate is tart and robust with fruity, earthy, and meaty notes. Yeah, this wine needs food, but it holds up really well on its own, too, thank you very much.

Zippy, spice, cherry and tea flavor. Light on its feet.

Nice clear red color. Warm dark berry aromas. Cherry and raspberry flavors with juicy acidity. Decent finish.
