Consumed over three nights, it's aromatics were best on night one, the flavor and body best on night three. this is a solid and enjoyable wine, but a bit simple. A firned mentioned that this was a hot vintage and that many wines were on the less aromatoic side in 2017. At $20-25 I would buy again, but above that not so sure.

Retail $35. Under screw cap. A vestige of my Largest Blind Tasting of American Pinot Noir of 2019, I really liked it then (90 pts.) but I might like it more now. A gamey and savory wild cherry with hints of mushroom and dark earth, this wine is rather fantastic. The palate is tart and robust with fruity, earthy, and meaty notes. Yeah, this wine needs food, but it holds up really well on its own, too, thank you very much.
Very ripe cherry, blueberry with toasted oak. Short finish. Not a lot of freshness and very typical of the vintage at this price point. Remember enjoying the 2016 vintage much more

The Second Annual Blind Tasting of American Pinot Noir: Retail $35. Smoky and gamey. Meaty and flinty on the palate. This is the winner of the flight of four. Very Good to Excellent. 89-91 Points. thedrunkencyclist.com

Consistent with previous bottle. Medium ruby in color with slight cloudiness, this wine reveals red fruits of cherry, plum and strawberry on the nose. The mouth feel is medium bodied with more red fruits including raspberry as well as subtle baking spices including clove and thyme. The finish is well balanced with brisk acidity. 13.5% abv.
Purchased for $20US, this is simply an excellent QPR over the years. It's a go to wine for me.

Superb given the price point. Relatively light texture and style but not light on flavor. Raspberry, clove and a touch of root beer. Subtle and delicious.

This is a good mid-range Pinot from Stoller which is easy drinking and a nice lower cost Option from Willamette. Medium body with aromas of black cherry, cola, and some earth. There is good juiciness to the palate and some nice acid with a medium weight. Medium length finish this is a great value!

Medium red. First taste on opening was fruity without acid, tannin, or minerality. Drank after 1+ hour in decanter. Strawberry and cranberry fruit prominent, with enough acid to start a balance, but tannins were weak. Good table wine (although pricey as that). Not as good as the Family Estate (as expected).

Succulent cherry fruit and lowish acidity. Definitely tasted like it was from a hot vintage. Not bad, but not a lot of character either.

Cherry, raspberry, spice, and cut flowers commingle, with a delicate, satiny mouthfeel. Acid is in line, keeping it fresh.

Again, OK but not very interesting, no real character. Richer and thicker side of Pinot Noir.
