  • Blackberries, boysenberries galore, rich, unbridled Australian with extremely healthy fruit, that really seduces you. Good balance. If you like them young and with less storytelling, this is it, and yes, it will keep for 10+ years, but it's damn good tonight.

  • This has developed nicely. Integrated fruit, wood and tannins to give a very smooth wine with good length and body. Still very young but has subtle acid and will continue to evolve in the cellar for another 10 years easy. 92+

  • I've under-rated this a little. Now in a very good Aussie Shiraz place. Abundant dark and some black berry fruit and quite typical of the Bin 28 in your face style without being jam or too sweet. There is a good bouquet of blackberries and blackcurrant, inviting. Its got some balance. The oak has been easily absorbed. The tannins are supportive and no longer assertive. The fruit is dark and brooding, quite prominent and admirable. The acid is cleansing, very cleansing. Overall this is increasingly in a very good place for drinking if you like a big Aussie Shiraz. But with years to go, it will deliver super value concentrated flavour with an admirable finish not cloying. Love it. Excellent value. Not for the francophiles and still best with strong flavoured food but roll up your sleeves and enjoy a big well fruited Aussie Shiraz please.

  • Pnp e no decanter. Una marea di tannini con una marea di barrique americana e una bella syrah sotto le due maree. Uno stile new world, ma senza eccesso di alcool e senza eleganza, ma con tanta piacevolezza, al limite della dolcezza.

  • Wine by the glass @ Pearl, PO Iona. Very youthful but pleasurable all the same. Cherries, blackcurrants, leather & hints of tar. Full bodied, tannins noticeably, still integrating.
