Quite A bit different than last year. This one was very fruity, almost like drinking straight blueberry juice. Very little acidity, no tannin. Very easy drinking: smooth, fresh tasting - just monolithic and almost too sweet. Doesn't seem to be in any danger of falling off the cliff anytime soon, but I'd drink sooner rather than later.

A schizophrenic wine, but oh, so good. The nose smelled of an old world Bordeaux - leather and slightly smokey. However, the palate was like a young California wine...light on it's feet with sweet plum, cassis, and a touch of chocolate. A very nice cab blend that is fully mature. Only a hint of tannins remain. Drink now - 2018.

Near black and almost shockingly youthfully sweet and bound up, even at a decade from the vintage. Although I can't find anything remotely Medoc-like about this (except the grape varieties on the back label), Parker did accurately predict its snail-paced evolution.
