  So elegant and integrated, with luscious fruit, a bit of oak and vanilla and a long finish. What a match for grilled beef and roasted asparagus! Drink now!

  fairly dense and fruit forward still but some nuance and complexity and character. really dang tasty wine.

  Displaying the elegance and desired balance missing in many CA reds.
  Fully mature, but not yet bricking or moving on to dried fruits. Could not have selected a better bottle for a casual dinner of mixed meats, cheese and fresh bread.

  Consistent with earlier tasting notes - Upon opening, sweet floral and berry aromas burst forth and filled the room. Dark garnet purple colored, medium full bodied, bright vibrant full forward flavors of black raspberry with tones of blueberry, sweet currants, tangy spice and hints of sweet caramel and whisper of tobacco leaf with nicely integrated sweet tangy oak on the lingering finish."
  
  Tonight this had the same profile and character albeit the non-fruit tones of the tobacco and a bit of earthy leather were emerging.

  Purchased at winery
  55 degrees since purchase
  Blood red good legs
  Nose of ripe maybe overripe bing cherries, sandalwood and graphite
  Flavors of bittersweet cherries, red fruit maybe cranberries and almost cough drop like- in a good way due to its very glycerine like mouth feel
  Still has good tooth gripping tannins
  And my teeth are purple
  92
  Tasted almost as good as the proprietary red from the same year
  Good for pahlmeyer
