Definitely fading, with mushroom notes coming to the fore. Interesting curio for a midweek glass, but a very useful wine for cooking with to finish the bottle.

($10) Well extracted jammy dried cherries. Simple, tart/acidic but not out of character for Sangiovese. Nose is all dried herbs and cherries. Has some excess CO2 that makes it effervescent to my tastes.

Some nice fruit with decent acidity, but nothing to exciting.
