Subtle lemon notes, terrific viscosity and mouth feel, plush, fantastic depth of flavor. Just the right amount of acid to drive this, super complex. Excellent, feels like it is at peak. Qualifies for the technical designation dee-lish. I regularly drink Fidelio with only 1 - 2 1/2 years of bottle age but this is making me reconsider how early I drink them.

I had the group at my house for Father's Day prior to going to the club. This was a beautiful bottle of wine. The nose was grapefruit. The palate was grapefruit, lemongrass, fresh cut grass and hints of guava. The finish was awesome. Served against a 2017 White Saxum and this was the better of the two wines. 94+ for yesterday.

My last bottle of this vintage, and I had it with my wine group at a NYC Steakhouse. We all loved this wine. It was richer, with a bigger body than most SB's I have had. Tropical fruits, and a very long finish, with a great floral aroma. Maybe a little short on acidity to go well with the clams on the half shell that I had, this might be better as a sipping wine.
