Let breathe for 60-90 min. (got better as it opened up, but should have aerated even longer). Translucent brownish-red hue. Moderately complex w/cherry, strawberry, raspberry, cedar, leather & mild cinnamon aromas w/violet notes. Juicy & tangy.

Exceptionally well-behaved, making this a great wine right now for a food pairing. Relatively light/translucent to the eye. The nose has a floral note to it, but in general isn't very giving immediately on opening. The palate is lovely....there's something a bit dark and resinous against an otherwise delicate makeup. Reserved, but not in the watered down way. An earlier reviewer called it "pretty' and I think that's a pretty good description!

Stimmel's Market: Pacific Northwest (Bowling Green, OH): Very light color, with orange tinges. Light strawberry nose. Very light style, very Burgundian. Acidic. Somewhat dusty. Light body. Some black olive notes, and a little juicy.
