50mm natural cork enclosure. Med(+) garnet colour. Med. intensity nose with fruits sweet, red, black and jammy. Sweet spice, cedar, vanilla, damson and cassis. So, complexity box is ticked. This is a blend of Cab Sauv, Merlot and of course Sangiovese. Medium body, pronounced intensity on the palate, high acidity with fine med(+) tannins. The finish is long and the overall balance is rather pleasing. For me, this is drinking well, enough fruit left to complement the evolving tertiary notes. My advice to myself, if only this weren’t my last bottle, is drink now.

Dark, ink like purple color. No signs of bricking Rich cassis, fennel and citrus rind all lightly powdered with cocoa on the nose Palate shows layered dark chocolate (like a molten lava cake), ripe plum and fig with lemon pith on the finish. very Bolgheri - a Sassicaia-like finish

A little disappointed with this wine, needed 2-3 hours to open up. Then it was really good, still high acidity, on the verge of to high. So the first night was good. The second night was a disappointment, I thought it would open up even more, but the acid took over and it just became a sour feeling in the mouth. I hope this was a bottle variation, will wait at least a year before I open the next bottle.

Gang of 4 in Covid19 times; Sardinia and Sicily (@ RW): Herbal and spicy bouquet with dark berries, smoke and asphalt. On the palate a load of spices and herbs, chocolate, beautiful acidity and firm tannin with a round and pleasant bite. Can easily last another 5+ years. 92 – 93+

Very nice Super Tuscan: plum, prune, blackcurrant, smoke, clove, cocoa, dark chocolate and cigar. Medium plus body and dark dried fruit finish.
