  Opened and had a glass yesterday, it was quite big and Cabby, but not caricatureishly Aussie, which is nice. Forgot to gas it, and today seems just a bit less fruity, but still youthful. Quite a load of tannin, but fine and ripe. An Aussie Cab for Bordeaux aficionados, has some savoury elements and restraint. Nice. 91 for now, but may add a point or two as it ages and gains complexity. This has at least ten years in the tank.

  Opaque purple-black. Nice notes of dark fruit, cassis and pencil-lead. Plush, full-bodied with decent length. Perhaps just lacking a bit of the freshness experienced in previous encounters with this vintage.

  Open for business right after a pop and pour. It didn't really change over two night. Very New World, lots of fruit but not over the top; lots of blackfruits along with a bit of mint and tomtoto leaf. Classic Coonawarra cab with a nice smooth texture and just enough tannins to give some structure. Seems quite young still, with few secondary notes yet. Not all that complex, but certainly quite tasty and ready now. This has a long future ahead of it (A-).

  Still shows quite young. Dark purple. Fragrant notes of blackberry, mesquite charcoal, violets, tobacco and loam. Rich and full palate with great length. Very satisfying. This sells for a song given its quality and potential longevity.

  Un vin que j'avais bien aimé a l'époque. Maintenant il se développe sur des aromes de mures, potpourri, menthe fraiche, violette, la bouche est tout aussi élégante et fraiche et possède une bonne amplitude. C'est délicieux, savoureux et a la fois délicat. Difficile d'identiter le Cabernet-Sauvignon mais c'est superbe.
