A perfectly stored bottle from the BB&R Family Reserves.
Beautiful nose dark cherry, mushroom, ripe dark berries, plum, cedar and vanilla. Still incredibly fresh on the palate offering some stewed fruits, some chocolate and a lovely, wood-driven and mushroom depth. Walnut on the finish.
I am aware this note is far more positive than the others here, but this impression was shared by the wider group. The wine was holding up excellently and showing real freshness and vibrancy still as well as complex flavours. Probably thanks to the perfect storage with Berry Bros. Very impressive!

We had it decanted for an hour, the wine changed a lot during that time nevertheless it didn't come to full potential, has lost power. It is still very well balanced and great aromas of dark fruits and some leather, long finish and low acidity.
I think it's over it's peak time and you should drink it as soon as possible.

Uncorking was a real challenge but the wine wasn’t faulty. Developped and tertiary flavours prevalent. Close to no fruit left, over it’s peak at least for my taste, short finish.

RZ's Rioja Offline (Ariana II, Kilburn): Medium/deep garnet/mahogany. Developed, tobaccoey nose, touch of blood and some underlying sweet red fruit. Perhaps a touch confected? Medium bodied, soft, round, fully mature, touch of leather, spice, fresh acidity, harmonious but tails off a bit on the finish.

RZ's Rioja Dinner (Ariana II): Colour - some bricking, some cloudiness. On the nose - as RZ points out, dusty tobacco notes, clearly mature. A gentle wine - fully mature at this stage,
