This thing is not for sale but the bearded Sommelier brigade would go ga ga over it. It's close planted Syrah and has plenty of whole cluster action. The nose is bright and punchy with notes of black olive, meat, liniment and menthol. Fruits are crisp in the mouth and it has good depth and plenty of structure. The finish has a pleasant astringency from the stems that suits the wine.
