Brought to a large gathering. Was interesting to contrast this to a recent '16 bottling that I LOVED. Didn't love this; liked and respected it.
Initially served a bit cold it needed to come up in temp to show what it had. White flowers, stone fruits, citrus and honey. Still has those lovely acids 8 years on. Can easily continue to cellar for several more years.

PnP. Not as acidic/crisp as I'd hope. Slightly flabby but clean finish. Been drinking too much white burg lately so in comparison this had no reductive nose and appeared cleaner and didn't have racey acidity. Palate a bit of citrus and honey. Nose wasn't really coming through much. Built up a bit more acidity as it warmed and got some air though.

Nose of sulfur upon opening. Clear, light yellow, unstructured legs. Palete satin smooth with good weight. Buttery citrus flavors. Goodinerality. Herbal notes reflective of bell pepper. Mild acidity. Lingering finish.

Annual Wine Group Summer Event - BBQ Brisket at Siggy's (Siggy & Jenny's Place, Mpls, MN): Small tasting pour. Brief note; same bottle as Bellissimo. Well this was a disappointment after a great bottle of 2016b recently. No comparison between the too. This was rough and much more pedestrian.
