From magnum. Pale, steely, flinty with a hint of lemon-lime, otherwise devoid of fruit. Faint toasty notes on the finish, strangely gaining intensity and lingering forever. Not a sipper and did not pair well with tonight's bulletproof Potato Rosemary Turkey Sausage pizza.

From magnum (interestingly, no AVA or designated appellation listed anywhere on front or back label). Acidic and crisp with fresh lemon and apple flavors, toasty vanilla spice on finish. Easily 3-4 yrs left in this format.

Barrel fermented and then aged in French oak for 10 months. Once at the proper temperature this really opens up. Scents of lemon, apple, white fig, chalky mineral, roasted nuts, dried leaves, oak and tobacco leaf with a slight hint of white flowers. The palate shows great focused acidity and flavors of pear, lemon zest, and apple that are escorted by flavors of rock, chalk, roasted nuts, golden leaf tobacco, French oak and a hint of white flowers. Lingering on the finish. Burgundian in style.

Big nose of melon and citrus, with apples pears and grapefruit on the palate. Nice finish that lingers with just enough acid to pear with cheese, salads, scallops, and pasta Alfredo.
Underrated here but generally CT docks OR Chardonnays by 2 points on average.

Still drinking nicely. 2012’s holding up well. Crisp pear will a bit of honeydew melon. Stoller never disappoints on their reserves.
