This has become nicely smoky and savory and drinks a lot like a Bordeaux with a leaner texture and firm acidity. There are lovely flavors of subdued black currants, sweet tar and smoked meats and the finish is cool and complex with notes of licorice spice and bitter chocolate.

Classic Cab nose of ripe cassis, black currants and spices. Really fine and elegant in the mouth with an ultra-silky texture although there is still structure underneath with crunchy tannins and crisp acidity. Ripe flavors of cassis and blackberries with a lovely earthy undertone that lead to a complex finish with notes of black cherry spices and minerals. Yes, I can tell its a new world wine but its so well done and there is more upside from here as the crunchy tannins continue to soften. One of the best West Coast Cabs around for my money. 93+

Beginning to slowly enter a good drinking range… enjoyed this quite allot and not too big… midway between big cali cabs and Bordeaux

2011 was a challenging year in WA and it shows in this wine. Nice considering the vintage.
