  Medium bright yellow with a golden sheen, light for age; healthy and powerful nose but slightly reticent, spices and roses of course, with a vinous character; firm and well-balanced palate, still juicy and velvety, excellent acidity, flavours of grapes, raisins and roses; very good length. Built to last, and how. Seems to stand the test of time effortlessly. Almost ageless; could as easily be 5 as 25 years old.
