Bright garnet/purple in color with a nose of dark red fruit and a harsh openendedness. This bottle is too young to drink now though it shows very nice potential. Dark red fruit bramble, cedar and chocloate with a lot of tannin and grit. Pumped and stoppered overnight. On day 2, it showed a more balanced whole and gave hints what this wine might taste like in a couple more years.

Delicious, very round, smooth, soft blackberry fruit with strong chocolate flavors, excellent structure, wine showed some subtle elegance, very forward in the mouth, clearly early drinking since not much tannin to further soften, lacked richness and complexity which are characteristic of the best Paso Rhone wines, i.e. Saxum, Booker, & L'aventure

Excellent. Stand by previous review from three years ago. Softened but the fruit is still nice and full bodied
