Not decanted. This is a decidedly savory Cab which, in my opinion, was probably better a few years ago. Plum, spiced berry, but that was all underneath the briny earthiness. Drink up.

Tried to drink on the 4th next to the Chappellet CS 11 but we didn't need it. W sausage day after. This is good. A bit light but excellent balance and fantastically fresh. Good finish!

Medium garnet – stuffed green peppers, red cherry, spice, cinnamon. Medium acid, medium tannins, 13.9% ABV, medium- body, medium- finish. Not quite as big as his 2010 Walla Walla Valley counterpart. Lovely with food. Drink sooner than later if you're a fan of more fruit and less tertiary aromas and flavors.

(Gramercy Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon Columbia Valley) Almost 100% varietal with all of the fruit coming from top-site Phinny Hill Vineyard in the Horse Heaven Hills, it brings high toned, very pretty aromas of dusty earth, savory notes, and pure, penetrating cherries. The palate has pure, lush cherry flavors, beautifully integrated tannins and bright acid. A thoroughly delicious wine made in a restrained style. 99% Cabernet Sauvignon, 1% Petit Verdot. Phinny Hill Vineyard. Aged 22 months in French oak (40% new). 13.9% alcohol. 450 cases produced.

Dark fruit profile holding up, still some structure. Opened up with a couple hours in a decanter.
Not sure there is pretty tertiary development in the future but not ruled out. With 2 more, likely will hold one for scientific purposes.

A drier style wine at a good stage to drink 2020-22.
