Last one from my cellar. Needed no decant and was ready on the pop and pour. Nose was very nice with leather, and lots of secondary notes. Palate was smooth, silky and quite nice. Long smooth finish. This wine is at its peak for me and will go down hill from here. Why wait?

Reading the reviews I was expecting a tired and past it's prime wine. This was very nice. Some bricking on the edges but not too much. Nose was spicey and showed that Harrison Hill note that is very unique. Palate was soft, complex, and long. Reminds me of a Margaux in some ways but has a Washingtom note too. Lovely wine and a bargain at auction. I'll look for more.

Tired fruit here and grouchy tannins; a disappointment compared to the perfect bottle of May '13 that seemed merely middle aged and destined for great things.

Holy hell I love this stuff. Rich, brooding, acid present for support, flavor is stunning.

No tasting notes recorded at the time. This bottle seems to have peaked and is well past it's prime. Will try another bottle to compare.
