Needed a little bit of air to blow off some initial volatility on the nose and palate. Lovely texture, quite round a full but with a minerality that balances out the ripeness. Has a chardonnay like frame but a flavour profile that pulls it in a slightly different direction. Shows plenty of interest and a very good example of rousanne that is ageing well indeed.

Absolutely correct and oddly joyless, this could easy have been mistaken for white Burgundy. Classic matchstick nose, restrained white fruit, minerality, and wonderful texture, but not exactly a rockin' good time.

Luminescent green-yellow in color. Expressive nose of candle wax, wet rocks, and sweet corn. Still showing good acidity and balance, with fullish body. Nice finish, and went well with our seafood.

The first bottle of this I've opened, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Very much like a fine Rhone white but with more acidity. Lovely aromatics, breadth and depth on the palate. A touch waxy but, all in, a very pleasant surprise!

Floral and candle wax notes on the nose, with balanced flavors of pear, apple, lemon, and beeswax. Acidity is a bit tart, which carries the flavors out. Will check my next bottle in a year or more.
