Quite musty upon opening. Sherry like, touch of nougat and a little marmalade sharpness to it. Never opened up with time, past its best for sure, not overly enjoyable.

Deep gold. Honey, hazelnut, nectarine and marzipan. Sweet and sour, rich not cloying. Intense and lingering. Developed nicely - drink up. (92 Very good wine)

Light gold, nice lustre. Very fine oak spice, honey, dried herbs. Rich honeycomb with plenty of soft plump peachy fruit, nicely spicey fine French oak. Clean and even palate, well balanced flavours. Finishes relatively soft acid but with an impressive resonance of clean flavours. This bottle is definitely past it's apex, I've had much better, but still a very interesting drink with lovely aged flavours and still holding a youthful edge.

Still quite light in colour and showing no real signs of falling over. I've had a bottle of this every year for the last 3 years and it really isn't moving much. Lovely creamy, nutty notes and considerable length. Nick commented that it had a bit of banana on the nose and he was spot on.

- Yellow gold color with a medium/full body. Oily texture with a long finish - Golden colour, melon and spice nose, melon and butter palate, no acid left, drink now.
